Diseñé el primer ciervo a mediados de 2009 cuando Feli era bebé, y recién ahora (tres años después :P ) estoy lo suficientemente conforme como para mostrarlo! Ahora sí es el ciervo que tenia en mi cabeza!!!! (Gracias Marisa por bancarme, ya sé que te volví loca!). Espero que haya valido la pena tanto esfuerzo…^____^

I designed the first deer in mid-2009 when Feli was a baby, and only now (three years later: P)  I feel that it is time to show it! Now it is the deer I had in my head! (Thanks Marisa for being so patient, I know that you went mad!). I hope it was worth it so much effort…^____^

Estoy muy feliz de haber hecho un intercambio con la artista francesa Else Puyo y su esposo Olivier Jourdanet, creadores de la marca Olivelse. Acaban de ser padres por tercera vez de una niña hermosa!

Else es una mujer dulce, amable y generosa que además del intercambio me envió un montón de regalos hermosos!

I am very happy to have made a swap with the French artist Else Puyo and her husband Olivier Jourdanet, creators of the brand Olivelse. they just become parents for the third time a beautiful baby girl!

Else is a sweet, kind and generous woman that also sent me lots of beautiful gifts! among those things a beautiful drawing of the illustrator Julia Wauters!

I hope to go this year to Paris and meeting her personally…

Empecé un bordado sencillo para el morral de Felicitas y se terminó convirtiendo en un muestrario de puntos de bordado: usé 27 puntos de bordado y costura!!!!!! los enumero como un auto recordatorio:

pespunte o punto atrás, hilván, cordón simple o punto yerba, punto cadena, festón con borde, festón griego, festón romano, punto cruz, punto de rodas, nudo francés, punto de posta o rococó, escapulario común y cerrado, punto hoja, dos variantes de rosetón, semilla simple y doble, punto de smirna, damasco, de monja, punto de figuras, de espina, de malta, punto rama, de matiz y palestrina.

me falta terminar la base pero le voy a coser un galón color chocolate. Feli eligió el color naranja y voy a usar un galón antiguo que tiene naranja y chocolate. A partir de ahí elegí la paleta… Ahora tengo que coser el morral!

I started a simple embroidery for Felicitas’s backpack and it ended turning into a showcase of embroidery stitches: I used 27 points of embroidery and needlework!!!!!(I had to use a translator because I have no idea how points are called in English! I suspect that they are not very accurate…)

stitching or backsight, basting, simple or point cord grass, chain stitch, scallop-edged, scallop Greek, Roman festoon, cross stitch, Rhodes Point, French knot, point slug or rococo, scapular joint, closed, point sheet, two variants of rosette, single and double seed, point of Smyrna, damask, a nun, point of figures, spine, malt, branch point, hue and palestrina.

I need to finish the base but I’m going to sew a gallon chocolate. Feli have chosen the color orange and Iwill apply an old gallon who has orange and chocolate. From there I chose the palette…Now I have to sew the backpack!

Una entrevista que me hicieron para DesignTV en 100% Design London 2011. La primera vez en mi vida que hablo frente a una cámara! Por supuesto no pude hablar en inglés… Por suerte Heidi hizo la traducción! Dios mío, qué nervios que tenía!!!!!

El viernes recibí la revista y casi me morí. Mi pequeño Farnesio tapa de la revista Modern Decoration Home! Además publicaron TODO el material que les mandé! más de una doble página con mis trabajos… Jamás en la vida me lo podría haber imaginado…Parece que cuando te llega la felicidad viene en container.

Last Friday I received the magazine and I almost died. My little Farnesio cover of the magazine Modern Home Decoration! not only that but they published ALL the material I sent to them! over a double page with my works … Never in my life I could have imagined … It seems that when happiness comes it comes in container.
